I wrote a poem about the storms of life and being a tree. For storms come and go. Let's face it, Life is HARD! However, since I have started practicing mindfulness I have learned about the importance of staying grounded. It also gives perspective. This poem helps me cope and realize that there will be storms in life no matter what and all we can do is control how we respond to them.

My name is Jason Burris. I am 38 years old and I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1992.
