Colored pencil and watercolor on art paper. I made this because I watch the movie Totoro with my sister and brothers a lot. It's a really good movie and in it the mom is really sick and in the hospital. It makes me think about how Sammy is in the hospital a lot too and it's hard but everything is ok because we have each other.

Addy (8) is a sibling to survivor Sammy Onofrey (11). She was just 2 when our lives changed drastically with Sammy's diagnosis. Yet She is always wonderfully supportive and loving towards her big sister. Consistently with a kind word and incredibly understanding of how our lives can look different from those around her. Sammy and Addy love doing art projects together
