Artist Statement (include type of art, techniques & materials used, what it means to you)
This was my daughter’s artist idea. She asked me to take her picture after she sat up all of the props. She used a vase of real flowers, a vase of Lego flowers and a flashlight. She loves playing with shadows. It also gives me insight into how she actually sees the world with her low vision.

I am, Tabitha Newport and I am Harper’s Mom. She was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma just 2 weeks shy of her 2nd birthday and she is my 13 year old warrior!
