I made this piece using sunflower petals and leaves that were part of a bouquet my boyfriend had given me. I didn't want to throw them away even though they had already dried out. Sunflowers mean a lot to me, they remind me of my cousin who passed only a few years ago and they symbolize happiness and hope.

Hello, my name is Serafina and I am 21 years old. I am the older sister of Benjamin Lee. Ben was diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma Grade III RELA Fusion Positive at the age of 2 on March 17, 2014. He is now 11 years old.
