Artist Statement (include type of art, techniques & materials used, what it means to you)
I used the technique of smudging oil pastels together to blend the colors together. Sunset Creek gives me hope and faith. When I look at this piece of art, it hints that, “Though cold winters can be depressing and glum, the light ahead is still shining through brightly.” Hope isn’t lost; we just have to wait for the sun to rise.

Bio (include your age, tumor type and date of diagnosis)
I was diagnosed with Craniopharyngioma on October 2022 when I was 13. Art makes me feel relaxed; other types of things that makes me feel calm include watching animals and listening to music. These things will always have a special place in my heart.
