Artist Statement (include type of art, techniques & materials used, what it means to you)
This is a poem I wrote. I used pen, paper and my phone. This poem reminds me of the impermanence of life and how short and fragile life is. It helps to try to remind me remain in the present moment and make it count.

Without My Anchor
Without my anchor I am lost at sea
Without my anchor I sail without a port
Without my anchor my dog
He was my anchor in everyday life.
He anchored me to the present/moment/this
moment
He was my anchor on a leash
Without my anchor I have no main purpose
forward
Left except with many small things yet
Without my anchor
Without my anchor I drift at sea
Without my anchor my beloved dog.
