Artist Statement (include type of art, techniques & materials used, what it means to you)
This is a poem I wrote. I originally wrote it out on paper with a pencil. I have transferred it to a word processing document.
For me the poem means that although I may have many scars due to my brain tumor and its after effects, so does everyone else. As everyone is struggling with something and we should be kind and do anything we possibly can to help others as we have no idea of what they are going through at any given moment.

Artist Bio: Tell Us Your Story
Pituitary Brain Tumor survivor. I have to take several medications to replace all of my hormones and each one affects the others causing issues. Some hormones are still not replaced or cannot be taken. I struggle with physical, mental, emotional, and metabolic health issues as well as hyperphagia, visual field loss, and electrolytes issues.
