Pet's Story
GreenBean came in to our lives as a one week old baby bottle foster kitten with her two sisters. Early on we realized GreenBean wasn't developing right. She had serious mobility issues and often was not able to make it to the litterbox.

After a couple sets of xrays, it was clear that all four legs had serious deformities and it was assumed that she would be in extreme pain and not be very mobile.

Despite her grim prognosis, she never gave up. GreenBean had an incredible will to not only live but thrive. She has grown in to the happiest, most playful, mobile kitten around. We don't know how long she will be painfree and will eventually have to make the decision to ease that pain, but for now she is beyond thriving. We couldn't imagine not being her furever home.

As we come up on her 1st birthday, one we frankly were not sure she would make it to, please help us celebrate by voting/donating in her honor so that Asheville Humane Society can continue the lifesaving mission that brought GreenBean in to our lives. Happy 1st Birthday GreenBean!
