Your Pet's Story or Bio
Stella was transferred to the AHS from another shelter in Dade County, Georgia in November 2015. I went into the AHS because I needed something to cheer me up. My husband and I had been struggling with infertility and seeing the wonderful dogs at the AHS always brings a smile to may face. I didn't expect to meet Stella, but when I locked eyes with her I knew that shewould be the perfect addition to our family and recipient all the love we were yearning to give. Stella was in bad shape with an intestinal parasite, ear infections in both ears, mites and, what we later learned, was a wound from a bb gun. We helped her heal physically, but she saved us emotionally and spiritually. Stella is a loving companion, the kindest soul and looking forward to becoming a big sister this Fall!
