Ernie is a 5 years old Shih-Tzu and was born with a liver issue that is managed with daily medication. He is a licensed therapy dog and loves everyone, including his cat brother Pat. His most comfy position is on his back, which could be in your arms like a baby or sprawled out anywhere. His favorite place in the house is his bean bag. For fun, rather than playing fetch, he prefers to play keep away. He will periodically get random bursts of energy that cause him to speed through the house from one end to the other, with a toy in his mouth but that only last for about 5 minutes. Then, he returns to his back sleeper position. He can sit for hours just observing others and will do absolutely anything for a "special snack."
