I adopted Honeybear from the Humane Society, who had an open adoption day at North Point Mall. I went there to buy a sweater; I came home with a best friend. That was 15 years ago. Honeybear was instrumental in getting me through the heartbreak of the end of my 20 year marriage. He has loved and protected my 3 kids every day of his life with us. He barks at Kroger bags and is afraid of tin foil, but hey, we all have our things. He has slowed down a lot in the last few years, so we spoil and love him every single day. He can’t jump on my bed anymore, so he has a flight of steps to get up there. People make fun of me but I don’t care 😂 He’s the best boy ever.
