Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Lucy in 2019 from the Howell Mill Atlanta Humane Society. We wanted to give an older dog a loving home, and Lucy was around eight at the time. When we saw her online, my daughter and I knew she was the one. We brought her home later that morning. What we didn't know, was that Lucy had a surprise for us. A few days later, and every day since, she started showing us her smile. Every time we come home, every morning when she greets us, every time she wants a treat, and at the funniest moments in between. Lucy is a great example of why adopting can be such a gift. We are truly the lucky ones to have found her.
