Butters graduated from the Atlanta Humane Society on February 14, 2015. A natural for the camera, Butters is his human's favorite subject to shoot when testing out new photography toys or techniques. When not lounging around on the patio greeting neighbors, Butters enjoys long walks to the park with his human, road trips to Florida to visit his grandparents, and chasing tennis balls around the yard, though these are all immediately forgotten at the first squeak of a toy.

Although Butters has had his share of hardships (separation from his bonded sister, being hit by a car, ongoing issues with shar pei fever), his smile and happy demeanor bring warmth and happiness to everyone he meets.
