Your Pet's Story or Bio
My family talked about getting another dog to give our 13 year old Yorkie some company. However, I never knew that my very first unplanned trip to the Atlanta Humane Society in Alpharetta, was when I’d meet and bring home, my sweet Riley! In 2018, I saw a sweet boy with a pet cone on, laying on his back. I talked to him for a minute and left to see the other dogs. I circled back around and this time he perked up when he saw me and that was it from there. Riley had my heart! Riley has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives! He such a sweet loving baby! He loves to cuddle and give kisses. Riley loves everyone, and everyone loves Riley! When we lost our 17 1/2 year old Yorkie last year, he really helped us with our broken hearts. We are so thankful everyday for the joy Riley brings to our home. It’s like we’ve had him forever because he fit into our family so we’ll. My husband, who didn’t want another dog, loves him to pieces and he adores him, too. I don’t know who had Riley in the past but I do believe he was loved. Riley is the second dog my family ever had and our first adopted dog. Thank you so much Atlanta Humane for giving us our Riley.
