Asami started as a 4 month old foster puppy in our home, in partnership with Atlanta Humane Society. Having overcome Parvo, a hernia removal, and a URI, we were focused on helping him heal and recover. We quickly learned he had physical challenges as well as he couldn't walk like a normal puppy on his own. After months of providing him a safe place to rest and visiting multiple vets, we decided to foster fail. He's been the king of our home ever since. He's taught us a lot about perseverance in such a short time by overcoming many of those health obstacles. His good boi nature and sweet soul give us something to look forward to every day. The irony is his name means "beautiful morning" in Japanese. That couldn't be more fitting as he's our favorite thing to wake up to! Asami now helps us foster more dogs by providing them comfort and companionship as they get ready for their furever homes. In return he gets a lot of "moo munchers", carrots, and belly rubs.
