Cat's Story or Bio
Shelby was rescued from the streets with her seven kittens and transferred from a local shelter to Purrfect Pals where she was fostered by foster Mom Janet. When she was taken for her spa (spay) appointment it was discovered she was already pregnant again. Shelby was then transferred to Foster Dad John and The Critter Room. It was way too soon for poor Shelby to be giving birth again. On August 25, 2017 she gave birth to Sparky, as well as several stillborns. Foster Dad John gave his all to little Sparky. On August 29, 2017, on the way home from the Purrfect Pals vet with Shelby and Sparky, he stopped at a railroad crossing, looked into the carrier and was shocked to see Shelby with two newborns. Yes, four days after giving birth to the previous ones, little Lizzie made her appearance. Unfortunately, Sparky went to the rainbow bridge that evening but Lizzie carries her spirit in this world. Thanks to Purrfect Pals and Foster Dad John, I was lucky enough to adopt Shelby and her baby Lizzie. They are now in their forever home with two other Purrfect Pals kittens, Violet and Joti. Shelby says she is so happy to have sister kittens for Lizzie and to finally be able to play and be a kitten herself, something she never got to do.
