Cat's Story or Bio
Milo came to Northwest Spay and Neuter Center in Tacoma WA on July 2nd, 2015. He was found in a field in Tacoma and trapped by a neighbor who could hear the cries of a cat at night. The caretaker, wanting to help this kitty however he could, knew he could get him neutered at NWSNC, and then planned to release him back into the field to let him live out his life as an outdoor cat. Milo, then known as 'red cat' was the only free roamer brought to the clinic that day in the middle of a rare NW heat wave, and was 1.5 pounds, covered in fleas, and full of worms. He was a hot mess. The executive director, a budding crazy cat lady, agreed to take him home to *foster* (yeah right) him back to health. Milo spent the scary 4th of July eating wet food and figuring out how to be a kitten. Milo never left (because who were we really kidding), and he joined two dog sisters, a big grey cat brother, and is now the best big brother to another former free roamer. We love him, and he has set the bar for all cats to come.
