Cat's Story or Bio
Sweet Pea, formerly Shorty, is my 11-year-old Purrfect Pals kitty that I adopted from the Issaquah Petco in January 2017. After my 14-year-old Neko passed away unexpectedly around Christmas I began looking on the Purrfect Pals website at other senior tuxedo cats in need of a home. There were several that caught my interest, but Shorty is the one who stole my heart.

Unfortunately the timing wasn't right as I was staying with my mom in Chehalis helping her care for my ailing stepfather. Even so, I checked the website daily to see if she'd been adopted. When my step-dad passed away at the end of January I made an appointment to come visit Shorty two days later and the rest is history.

Sweet Pea is just the cutest, sweetest, most perfectly behaved and well-adjusted little kitty I've ever met. It just breaks my heart that the only reason she hadn't been adopted sooner was that she was ten years old. I will never adopt anything other than a senior kitty. They are the best!
