George

Cat's Story or Bio
In the six years since we adopted George from Perrfect Pals, he has expanded his skills and greatly contributed to our family. From the moment we met George, we knew that he would become an important part of our family.

From the moment the first alarm rings, George is going from room to room waking us up with his morning kisses. Then, along with his human siblings, Ally & Paul, he's downstairs waiting in line for his breakfast. We all begin to rush out to work & school and George assumes his perch on our window seat protecting us for all the chickadee birds that visit our patio. When we get home, George is laying at our entry waiting to greet each of us and remind us to start our evening routine. George helps with chores and loves to help with laundry when it is taken out of the dryer. Then, teacher George lays at the kitchen table with Ally and begins tutoring her in all her school subjects. After homework, the kids love to play with George. Ally has him chase a string of yarn or puts out wrapping paper for him to roll on. George also loves to play pretend with Paul and becomes the evil "Cat Kong," the villain that collapses on top of Paul's lego displays and destroys his buildings. Before bed, George relaxes going from lap to lap as we watch a little tv. At bedtime, George sits on Paul's lap and is read a story and then purrs until Paul falls asleep. Continuing his rounds, George goes to Ally's room to put her to sleep, then ends up in our room to take up his night guard duties at the foot of the bed.

As you can see, George has fully assumed an important role in our family. Not only does he contribute his protection, wisdom and sweet disposition, but he helps keep our home running smoothly. We are so thankful to Purrfect Pals for helping us in finding the perfect addition to our family. Our family promotes cat adoption and recommends Purrfect Pals because of all the wonderful work they do for our feline friends in our community.
