Mochi & Marshmallow

Cat's Story or Bio
My husband and I adopted Marshmallow and Mochi last summer. I follow several local cat rescues online and Mochi's picture caught my eye. I wasn't planning on adopting another cat (we already had four) but I couldn't stop thinking about Mochi. My husband and I went out to celebrate our anniversary and knowing how much I love cats he took me to the rescue to see if Mochi was still there. We visited Mochi and he was very shy and hid in the corner of the kennel the whole time. His brother Marshmallow on the other hand climbed right into my arms and started purring. He wanted to play and explore! I totally fell in love with little Marshmallow but didn't want to make any impulsive decisions so we went home to give it some more thought. The rescue required that kittens be adopted in pairs and I was still very drawn to Mochi too, even though he had hid the whole time. We went back a couple days later and these two were still there. This time Mochi started to come out of his shell and show his sweet personality. It was meant to be! We brought them both home. It is pretty clear that these two brothers were meant to live life together. Mochi is shy and Marshmallow is outgoing and rambunctious, but even with their differences they enjoy being together. We are so happy that these two little guys came into our lives.
