Wilbur Snuggie Hugglebottom

Wilbur was born and spent the first year and a half of his life in a carport in a cage stacked with many other animals. He was liberated by Colville Animal Sanctuary and brought to me as a foster. I knew on day one that I could never let him go.

“Brad Pitt” (as he was named by the rescue) was so shy and scared at first, but within a few days he became more confident and we became best friends.

Wilbur is named for the pig in Charlotte’s Web because of his pink nose, curly tail, super sweet disposition, and mega smarts! He used to play chase, hide and go seek, he would ask me to run the bathroom faucet for a drink, he yelled at me for treats every day, and he was a major snuggler and brother to my other cat, Boo.

Sadly, Wilbur was diagnosed with heart and lung diseases in August, and despite a medication regimen and excellent vet and cardiology care, he suffered a sudden heart attack in January.

Wilbur was my best friend and we will never forget him and miss him. RIP my darling buddy. ❤️❤️❤️ Forever
