Pet's Story
Ali came to us as a tiny kitten, through a rescue organization in Tulsa Ok. She is part Siamese with a hint of orange tabby. In July, she will be 20 years old (that's 96 in human years), and is enjoying her retirement in Salida CO. She gets her exercise by climbinbg up and down the basement stairs to reach her litter box, something most cats her age can not do. Otherwise she can be found on my lap, lounging in her "bed burrito", or in her bean bag "pod". Although she has all her claws, she has never expressed any interest in the outdoors, but she did bring us a mouse once years ago just to prove she could do it. Her main ambition is to wake me up promptly at 6:00 am to begin her morning routine. At this she persists. She is a sweet, little old lady, who has been through a lot with our family, over the years. We are very happy that she has adapted so well to mountain life, and seems to be thriving here.
