Pet's Story
Lola was adopted from the Ark Valley Humane Society in July of 2016 along with her brother, Sebastian. They were from the same litter and were 8 weeks old when I adopted them. I live in Denver but traveled to Buena Vista to adopt because of the late Cara Russell, who was an avid supporter and friend of the shelter for many years. I adopted Lola and Sebastian in her memory.

I originally went to the shelter wanting to adopt Sebastian who happened to be in the same kennel as Lola. As soon as I look him out of the kennel to take him home Lola started to meow and pace back and forth as if she couldn't be separated from her brother. She was the prettiest little kitten with the most distinct markings on her face. It was then I fell in love with her also. I adopted both of them that day.

Lola is a chatterbox and is always meowing to get attention. She is a bit of a princess and loves snack time. She enjoys fresh raspberries in her dry food every morning and will only drink water out of a specific cup. She loves cuddling with her brother Sebastian and is always giving him baths. She is the most loving and sweet girl but can definitely have an attitude at times.
