Pet's Story
Sebastian was adopted from the Ark Valley Humane Society in July of 2016 along with his sister, Lola. They were from the same litter and were 8 weeks old when I adopted them. I live in Denver but traveled to Buena Vista to adopt because of the late Cara Russell, who was an avid supporter and friend of the shelter for many years. I adopted Lola and Sebastian in her memory.

I saw Sebastian on the shelter's website and immediately fell in love with him. He was so small and frail but had a funky little personality and I knew I had to take him home. This picture was taken the day I took him home. He was excited to finally have a forever home and not be separated from his sister.

He is the most well behaved kitty and is the biggest mama's boy, he never leaves my side! I call him my "gentleman" because is so loving and protective. He loves to cuddle in bed at night and has learned to give kisses on the lips as if he were a dog. For some reason he has grown much bigger than Lola and now weighs as much as a small child. He uses his weight to his advantage when playing WWE with his sister and often pins her to the ground. I guess that's what big brothers are for!
