Pet's Story/Bio
My name is Ellie and I am a rescue from Ark-Valley Humane Society. I am an 8 month old Double Merle Australian Shepherd. It's because I am a Double Merle that I am mostly white and very beautiful. It is also the reason that I am completely deaf and nearly blind. Even though I can't hear and I don't see very well, mom and dad are teaching me a lot of things. They just have to be a little more patient and a lot more creative. I don't let my challenges slow me down a bit.

I am a high energy dog, typical of my breed. I am a big help to dad when he works in the fields...dad says, yeah, sure, whatever you say Ellie. I love the water and am really disappointed when there isn't water in our ditch. Sometimes I have to go over to the neighbors land to splash in the water in his ditch.

I live with 3 other special needs brother dogs and 1 sister dog. They are all rescues too.
