Pet's Story/Bio
Chance was a rescue from the front range. He came to us as the meanest golden in the world. He liked to use his teeth and pick fights. He had anxiety and allergies and thyroid issues. He would lick his legs raw daily so he spent most of his alone time living with the cone of shame on. He eventually grew out of anxiety and we were able to ditch the cone of shame.
He still doesn't do well with kids or other dogs. He doesn't really like car rides (or maybe he does, but his constant barking tells a different story). His prior life did not afford him to be a kind (and typical) golden in the outside world, but around the house he has come a long way from the mean dog we rescued 11 years ago!
