A little about me...
Lenny and I have been camping in and hiking all over the Upper Arkansas Valley for years now. Originally adopted in New Jersey, we both made our way first to Colorado, and then to Buena Vista where we've now lived for several years. In my quest to give him the best life possible, I wound up making my own life pretty great as well. He reminds me time and again that all one needs to be truly happy is food, water, companionship, and recreation in the great outdoors.
This photo was taken on a casual hike north from Cottonwood Pass along the continental divide with the Three Apostles in the background, intentionally blurred a bit to draw the eye to Lenny. Lenny will turn 13 years old this summer, and so we've scaled back our hiking ambitions in favor of peacefully sitting by rivers to watch the leaves dance in the wind and listen to the water flow by.
