Pet's Story
Cannoli was adopted in 2004 from the Ark-Valley Shelter. His shelter name was Spicoli (after "Mr. Spicoli" on a TV show, we were told). My husband and I renamed him Cannoli after trying out all the other "oli" names we could think of. Cannoli is a sweet Italian dessert and we thought our cat was a sweetheart. Twelve years later he is still with us.
I took the photo on Halloween. Cannoli was reclining on the couch. I placed the skull next to him for a spooky effect. (Animal skulls and bones show up on our property periodically as we live in coyote country).
