Pet's Story
Ten years ago, Mario began life as an alley cat. His mom, underweight but still producing milk, was discovered sheltered with her four kittens in a garage behind Hattie’s Pub on F Street. The owners provided food and bedding and soon all five felines were doing well. When invited to take a kitten home, we ended up with the first one we could catch. A good choice! Mario became a house cat, enjoying sunny windows and playing with the dog. He loves rubber bands, twist ties, and pipe cleaners.
