A little about me...
We signed up to foster older dogs with AWLA after we lost our beloved lab Koda Marie. One Friday afternoon, we received an email requesting emergency fosters because they just got a litter of puppies. We arrived not knowing anything about the pup we were about to foster. Uno was the name AWLA gave the pup, and we knew almost immediately that he was never going back to the shelter. We changed his name to Miko, using a K and M to pay homage to our late pup. He came at a perfect time to add new paw prints to our hearts. His personality is gentle and sweet. The loveliest boy in the whole world with licks for everyone! He is not very food motivated, but he loves tennis balls! He is extremely smart and a perfect best friend!
