A little about me...
In every neighborhood, there are familiar faces that brighten the streets: a wave from a neighbor, a child’s laughter echoing down the block. In my neighborhood, joy has four legs, a wagging tail, and a name: Birdie.

Birdie isn’t just a dog: she’s a little spark of sunshine wrapped in fur. From the moment she trotted into our lives, rescued and radiant, she’s done what many strive their whole lives to do: make the world feel a little lighter, a little kinder, a little more like home.

No one who meets Birdie forgets her. Rescued, yes, but also a rescuer in her own right. She lifts spirits, mends heavy hearts, and shows us every day that a little love can go a long way.
