A little about me...
Boomer was adopted in the summer of 2010 at 1.5 years old, and lived a long and happy life alongside his humans, who made sure he was loved to the absolute fullest. Boomer lived until the ripe old age of 16.5. While he was not adopted from AWLA, Boomer’s family is raising money for the local shelter organization in his honor.

At 12 lbs, Boomer was small but mighty, and he took his job of protecting his humans very seriously. He loved chasing his squirrel friends and hunting for lizards when visiting his grandparents in Florida. Boomer’s favorite place to go was the beach, and in his later years enjoyed going on hikes in Shenandoah National Park with his humans, especially when they carried him in his pack when he got tired of walking.
