A little about me...
We were shopping at Petsmart for our cat, Nemo’s food. We always visited the adoption area and love on everyone. They had a full house of kitties. One baby boy climbed up his cage to reach me. I was in love. We went home and were making dinner when Dave said “you’re still thinking of that kitten right?” I nodded with tears in my eyes. He called Petsmart, asked if he was still there. He was but they were closing in 15 minutes. Dave said “do the paperwork now we’re on our way.”Upon arrival, they handed him to me. He went nuts licking my face, purring, cuddling. I know he was saying “l knew you’d come back for me”. He immediately sucked up to Nemo who accepted the baby wholeheartedly. Now 15 years later, in Feb. both Dave and Ernie passed. I have Mikey who we adopted 6 years ago from Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. He is my whole world now and I his, neither of us would have survived without each other.
