A little about me...
We adopted Mushroom from AWLA on June 18, 2025. We had been following the adoptable cats for several weeks when a litter of brothers and sisters appeared all named after pizza toppings. We saw Anchovy on the website (there were also Sausage and Pepperoni!) and visited the following Saturday hoping to meet him. Anchovy had been adopted already. But when we met Mushroom, she sealed the deal in moments with her energy and sweet disposition. As we were leaving AWLA with her, one of the staff asked "what will you name her?" I said "What do you mean? She's Mushroom!!"
