After my 2 cats of 20 years passed away I was devastated. I am unable to have children so I loved one them! I started having a heart for dogs so I went to AWLA. There, I met the adoption coordinator who asked me lifestyle questions. I had not had my own dog before. She recommended Martini who was in foster care. When I met him we instantly connected!! Because his foster parents lived in The Milton (at pentagon city) and he survived hurricanes Helene & Milton... I renamed him Milton. :) I have a serious medical condition and words cannot express how much I needed Milton by my side. I'm training him to do medical tasks and he is doing so well. He's a quick leaner, a playful, sweet, protective companion. He loves sniffing the neighborhood on walks or playing with other dogs at the local dog parks.
