Please provide a brief bio of your pet:
Comet began life in North Carolina. She was rescued from the streets by an animal shelter there and then sent to AWLA. We met her December 23, 2021 when we agreed to foster her as part of AWLA's Home for the Holidays program. This was exactly 3 months to the day after we lost our previous cat. We thought we would only keep her for the holidays. On December 30, 2021, we signed her adoption papers. She has been charming us and talking to us as a member of our family ever since.
