SweetPea was a transfer from a dog rescue in Kosovo in 2019. At 8 years old, she was considered an "old lady." This "old lady" was the joy of my life and the staff at AWLA. She came to work with me almost everyday. She kept the staff company during the pandemic spreading joy with her goofy, loving antics. "Pea Pie" was a popular guest at our Kids Camp, schools and meetings. Her favorite things were rolling in the green, green grass, begging for treats and getting loved on. She passed away in April and her kind gentle soul is greatly missed. P.S. Yes, that's her chicken friend sitting on her back before they went into Kid's Summer Camp.
