AWLA Pet Photo Contest Rules 🐾

Who Can Enter
This contest celebrates pets of all kinds! Any animal companion can be featured - they don't need to be AWLA alumni.
Eligible Pets:- Birds 🦜
- Cats 🐱
- Dogs 🐕
- Guinea Pigs
- Rabbits 🐰
- Reptiles

Not Eligible:Your beloved pets from both past (memorial entries) and present are welcome to participate, as long as you have a high-quality photo that showcases their unique charm and personality!
Contest Guidelines
Participant Requirements
- Age: All participants must be 18 years or older to enter the contest or participate in fundraising activities.
Important Dates
- Contest Opens: 8 am Sunday, June 1, 2025
- Contest Closes: 12 noon Monday, June 30, 2025
- All fundraising must take place between these dates.
Winner Selection
- The cat, dog, and small companion animal with the most votes in their category will win their face on the label of limited edition rescue brew crowlers produced by The Board Room Brewery!
- One additional pet with a minimum of 100 votes will be chosen at random to also have their face immortalized on a limited edition rescue brew crowler produced by The Board Room Brewery.
- Winners will be announced on the contest website homepage within 24 hours after the contest closes and also contacted directly by the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.
How to Enter
- Create an entry on the official contest website.
- Upload a quality photo of your pet.
- Share your entry with friends and family to collect donations and points!
Fundraising Rules
- All donations must be submitted online directly to your contest entry to count toward your total.
- All donations to the photo contest are final.
- Points are tabulated automatically through the online platform.
Tiebreaker Policy
If there is a tie for second place, those contestants will be entered into a random drawing. The winner of the drawing will be featured on the label.
Winner Responsibilities
- All winners must provide 3-4 high-quality photos of their pet within the specified timeframe after the contest ends.
- Winners may also elect to have a photo shoot of their pet by one of AWLA's talented volunteer photographers (also within a specified timeline after the contest ends).
Content Guidelines
- AWLA reserves the right to disqualify entries containing objectionable content or inappropriate depictions of animals or people.
- If an entry is disqualified, donors may request refunds of their contributions.
Usage Rights
By submitting your entry and agreeing to the waiver, you grant permission to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and Board Room Brewery to use your pet's:
