My names Cheddar, and my mom likes to say I was raised by dogs. I love to play fetch and go on walks in my stroller. I run to greet guests at the front door and love to be the center of attention. I can hold a full conversation with you and respond in an echo of meows!

I am royalty because I am orange, and everyone knows that’s a superior color.

I personally inspect my kingdom on daily outings in my royal carriage (some call it a stroller — I call it transportation befitting a king). I retrieve thrown objects like a highly trained royal athlete. Some say I act like a dog. I say I’m versatile.

I insist on being the center of attention at all times. If the spotlight drifts, I simply place myself directly in it. Leadership requires visibility.

I follow my human from room to room to supervise operations. A loyal ruler stays close to his subjects. Extremely close.

When pleased, I knead royal biscuits on the softest blankets as a blessing to the household.

The crown may be invisible, but make no mistake — this castle is mine.
