Luke Gibson, our red Golden Retriever dog, co-wrote a book with the title “Me & My Person: A Dog’s Memoir of Love and Loss” by Luke Gibson. It can be found on Amazon.
His name is on the cover of the book as the author.
Luke and his person started each day howling together. He was sensitive to sounds so the delivery trucks that made a high pitched BEEP, BEEP sound sent him to an awful place and required special medicine to get him calm again. He could have been one of the dogs who detected truffles buried in the ground because he had such a great sense of smell.

I’m royalty because…
He loved both my husband and me with unconditional love. Luke went to Heaven on January 13, 2026. This is in memory of Luke. He was a big boy weighing 120 pounds. He was the perfect guard dog as well as a gentle giant. He loved everyone and everyone loved him, people and dogs alike. He is so much more than royalty.
