My name is Lido! I am a retired greyhound from a race track outside of Orlando, FL. I ran in 72 races over 2.5 years. I was quite the competitor and finished in the top three in over half of my races. Greyhounds are known for reaching speeds up to 45 miles per hour. I still love to run and jog with my owner about 3 miles per day. I also love to run zoomies around the perimeter of my backyard. 🐕🐾

I’m royalty because…
I am royalty because my family treats me like a princess. I spend most of the day relaxing and love to have visitors who usually admire and pet me. I often hear how pretty I am and how soft my coat is.
My name Lido means “beach” in Italian which is perfect for me because I love to go along on boat rides in the Intracoastal Waterway. I always wear my life jacket. I love to stop at quiet beach areas, swim to shore, and rest in the warm sand. 👑🦴
