What is your pet's best quality? We brought home our Ashford cat in April 2017. We were getting married that June and did not plan on bringing home another cat to our two female Ragdolls until after the wedding. However, we fell in love with Ashford's photo on the Humane Society website. When we met him, he had been sick, was missing hair on his nose, was very skinny, and seemed terrified. We were convinced he would be too afraid to be with our other two cats, but when we each picked him up, he fell asleep and purred. We took him home and decided to name him after a destination we were going to during our honeymoon. When we brought him home, he was so scared that he lived in our bathroom for weeks, and he initially didn't eat or meow.
He now chases his sisters around the house, wakes us up with kisses and cuddles, assists us with work by stomping on the key board, sprawls across the couch like he owns our house, watches birds from the window, chases toy mice, talks up a storm, and loves his kibble. We love him very much, feel very lucky we get to spoil him, and could not imagine life without him.
