This is August. Better known as Oggie Chew, or “choochie”…was born with a cleft lip requiring special care. He was adoptable for several years without interest. This past July (at just 3 years old) he suffered bilateral spontaneous retinal detachment and has permanently lost his eyesight . We brought him home just weeks after his loss of vision, in hopes of an easier transition to both his new home and his new blindness. He is a special tiny guy. He has big eyes to match his big personality. He is seen “running around” in his little diapers and hanging out with his 3 rescue sibs! He is thriving and the happiest most resilient bud.
