We are looking for striking images of cute and feisty cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, ferrets, rabbits, guinee pigs and any other pets. Contest photographs will ideally represent fun and interesting pet behavior and portraits of pets with or without their humans.

Submit your entry for free. Inspire others by your creativity!

Tell us why this pet is special to you! A short and preferably funny story about your pet may help you get more votes.

** Winners will receive their copies in the mail and everyone can pick up their copy at adoption events.

Share your pet's link via email or on social media with your friends and family.

Ask them to vote and explain that their votes help to spay or neuter unowned community cats.

Remember you have two weeks to get as many votes as possible!

There is no limit to how many times you can vote for an entry so encourage your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to visit this contest and vote for their favorite picture and support a great cause at the same time!

No amount is too small, and every dollar raised benefits homeless cats in need.

This contest is open to anyone. Photos of any pet from any background are welcome.

The minimum donation for voting is $1 per vote. You may enter as many photos as you desire.

All entries are required to list the name of the pet(s) pictured in the photo and a short (preferably funny) story.

All images must be digital, photos may be color or black and white. Photographers may enter a single or multiple images; there is no maximum to the number of entries per participant. Images can be submitted as jpg or png files. File size must be minimum 2MB (or minimum 2000px wide) but we recommend a larger size to ensure printing quality.

Pets must be depicted in a safe environment setting in all entries.

Photos must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet's owner to submit their pet's image.

We cannot accept copyrighted professional photos or any photos that have been digitally manipulated or altered.

Once entered, photos become the property of Azrael’s Place and may be used for online, print, and marketing purposes.

Net contest proceeds go to the Azrael’s Place to care for local injured and orphaned cats and kittens, and any contributions of $20 or more are tax-deductible.

Entrants submit contact and contest information, upload photo(s), and select payment amount (entry fee + optional votes). Payment is made on a secure web page using a major credit card. Registration confirms that Azrael’s Place can contact you in future unless otherwise specified.

Donations are non-refundable and fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. Azrael’s Place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All entrants will receive email receipts for their contributions upon request.

Azrael’s Place reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the animal in a photo. Fees will not be refunded.

Entries will be accepted starting September 15, 2017, and the final date for submitting photos is November 15, 2017, at 9:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time*. To avoid processing delays, please try not to wait until the final days of the contest to enter. Azrael’s Place anticipates notifying winners by mid-December 2017.

***The ending time for the online voting portion will be solely determined by the host website's server. Keep in mind your clock may differ from the clock that determines the ending time.

Voting by the general public is available for a $1 donation per vote.

We encourage you to email the contest link to family and friends and encourage them to vote for your entry.

Persons may submit as many votes for as many photos as they wish.
