Sweet Christopher was transferred to Humane Society Silicon Valley from a busy city shelter. He had a heart murmur, skin problems, ear infections and needed more help than they could offer. Our ability to provide extended medical and behavioral care to vulnerable dogs like Christopher provides a safety net for both animals and other shelters in our community. HSSV is dedicated to all dogs, regardless of breed, and pride ourselves on our regional rescue program that help save hundreds of pibbles. 

After seven weeks with us and a lot of medical care, this gentle giant won the lottery when he met Nikki and her family. These days he enjoys lounging by the pool, cuddling with 'his' kids and his beloved bulldog sister Lola and HSSV alum pibble brother Cody.
