I adopted Mamas in April of 2017. She was brought in as a stray and her owners never came for her. She is 13 years old and has been an amazing addition to my life. Many people in my family still had that misconception that pit bulls are bad. Within a week, Mamas changed their opinions. I work at Lucas County Canine Care, and Mamas recently helped me teach dog safety to a kindergarten class. She stole their hearts, just like she did mine. I knew the minute I saw her, she was coming home with me. I chose this picture because this shows her goofy personality. No matter what kind of day I have, I get to come home to this great smile. You would never know she was 13 years old. She is the greatest girl, and I am so thankful she chose me.
