Adoptable Buster represents the 100s of pit bull type dogs & mixes that are adopted each year from Lucas County Canine Care & Control in Toledo OH. For years and years, we were one of the worst places to be if you were a dog that someone might call a pit bull. With dedicated community support and activism, as well as leadership and growth at shelter level, all of our dogs are now adopted as individuals. We're proud of how far we have come.

Note: For way too long now, our county has acknowledged the need for a new building. If we win Jonny Justice, he will stay in CA until they come through with a facility that both the sculpture and our dogs deserve.
