Tell us about your dog.
After barely making it out from a horrific dog-fighting situation, where he was presumably used as a bait dog, the gentle Hogan found himself in Eugene, Oregon. We first only intended to foster him, but soon realized that it was meant to be. I laugh when people thank us for 'adopting a shelter dog'. He's the best dog ever and we feel blessed to have him with us.

Hogan enjoys car rides, snoozing in his bed, sniffing in the backyard, hanging with his people, belly rubs, walks, and other typical dog activities. He is a very gentle, quiet, cuddly, and mild-mannered fellow, who is loved by all who meet him.

A special shout-out to the 1st Ave Shelter staff and volunteers in Eugene, OR who went above and beyond to keep Hogan safe, loved, and comfortable while he was there. They are a caring and dedicated group.
