Your Pet's Story
Layla was in solitary confinement at Bay Area Humane Society as a rescue kitten in March 2013. I was told she is one angry kitten and would need another kitten to keep her busy. She was a handful....but I'm a Leo....I wanted a female cat to replace the male lab we lost to cancer. I fell in love with her. I visited her 2 times before making a decision to adopt her. Her shelter name was different, but my son loves to play Eric Clapton on the guitar so we changed her name when we brought her home. We did not de-claw, I just couldn't do it.

She is now thoroughly enjoying life as the mistress to my husband. Seriously, she knows exactly when he sits in his chair for the night, boom. She's cuddled in his lap and if he even talks to me, she bites him. My 2 teen-age sons love her to pieces; she rules the roost. I'm good for food, water and litter box, and she lets me know it.

Layla is fiesty, funny & cuddly like her mama....she knows when to purr and when to roar....thanks BAHS !
