Your Pet's Story
I spotted Otis & his ears on the BAHS website & his story melted my heart & I knew right away that he was to be part of our family. He & his brother were found in Mississippi on a creek bank when they were 5 weeks old. They had been attacked by snakes. Otis lost most of his tail & has numerous scars from the incident, including a very large one under his jaw. His head was swollen & was put on high dosages of antibiotics for all of the infections he was plagued with from the incident. Otis was rescued on July 19, 2013 & was immediately became part of our family. You would never know from his demeanor that he had went through so much trauma. He has the best personality, he's smart, loving & his facial expressions & charm still warms my heart every day. He now enjoys playing fetch, chasing moths, movies, walks, rides, & taunting his brother Rocky to play tug. We couldn't imagine life without him.
